There is a wide-ranging selection of fitness centres in Hua Hin to choose from. There are fitness centres to suit all budgets from the Hua Hin Sport Villa fitness centre that is around 20 years old to the brand new @letic Fitness centre located on the top floor of the Market Village Shopping Centre. @letic Fitness is only just over one-year-old. There are some great facilities to be enjoyed in these centres, for the young and old alike with prices to suit all budgets and exercise facilities for many different levels.

Some good fitness centres in and around Hua Hin are: Palm Hills Country Club; Hilton Hotel; Hua Hin Sport Villa; and @letic Fitness. There are also some very well equipped fitness centres in hotels like the brand new Intercontinental Hotel, Hilton Hotel, Sofitel Hotel and Hyatt Hotel. Most of these hotels offer excellent cardiovascular equipment and machines along with resistance equipment, free weights and fitness instructors.

Hua Hin Sport Villa

Hua Hin Sport Villa is located around 1 kilometre south of the Market Village Shopping Centre. From the centre you can walk direct to the beach in less than 5 minutes. Set within the fitness centre are the following facilities: recently refurbished large swimming pool; fitness room with adequate and modern functional equipment like barbells, dumbbells and some excellent aerobic and fitness machines; sauna room, snooker room; restaurant; Internet café; taxi service and laundry service. Adults are charged 50 Baht per day for using the swimming pool and 80 Baht per day for the fitness centre. Or, you can join up for 1 month and pay only 1,600 Baht per month, which is great value. If you would like to soak away the stress of your day after training hard in the fitness centre, you can use the sauna for 100 Baht.

There is also accommodation available here in the form of small apartments for rent and sale. You can stay in rooms here for as little as 800 Baht per night or up to 10,000 Thai Baht per month if you would like to stay longer. This fitness centre is not newest that you will find in Hua Hin. But, it is certainly well-equipped with excellent fitness equipment; it has very friendly staff, great fresh Thai and Western food available and a beautiful swimming pool with lots of space around it with sun beds for sun bathing under the tropical Thai sun.

Hua Hin Fittness

Hua Hin Fitness, located on Soi 94 is a great little fitness centre that packs a lot into a small space. Parking is easy and the centre is professional and very modern. Rates here are also excellent with 990 Baht for 1 month and 6,000 Baht for 1 year’s membership. Along with all the latest sports equipment, drinks and snacks, they also offer an infrared sauna, steam sauna, massage beds and an outdoor Jacuzzi so you can watch the world go by while getting your muscles massaged by the bouncing bubbles – just as long as you are not too shy at being half-naked on the street!

The new fitness centre on the top floor of the Market Village shopping centre called @letic Fitness is very well equipped. It offers a huge fitness centre with sea views and has an incredible amount of cardiovascular machines like treadmills, stationery bicycles and steppers. There is also a great choice of fixed resistance machines and free weights and a selection of machines that focus solely on lifting your own bodyweight.

In the Dome, which is also part of @letic Fitness, you can choose from Spinning, Step, Zumba, Abs, Yoga and Power classes. All these classes are free when you join and have qualified instructors to guide you. There is also an @letic Juice Bar, which offers coffees, teas, body building supplements and a fantastic choice of freshly-made smoothies, shakes and mixed juices along with a good selection of fresh fruits. Next to @letic Juice Bar are some massage beds so you can enjoy your healthy drink while receiving a great massage. Membership here is 16,000 Baht per year. This price is not the cheapest but – pound-for-pound – it is great value for money considering the amount of classes and facilities available; it comes recommended.
