Palm Hills Golf Club & Residence in Hua Hin

Palm Hills Golf Club & Residence

Palm Hills Golf Club & Residence – an 18-hole par 72 with a 6,892 yardage – really lives up to its name. Not only does it have some of the most luxurious villas set within its grounds, but it also has many palm trees that grace its sweeping entrance and throughout the course. This course is also bordered by hills and there are some huge lakes on the course with exotic birds paddling on them making the views even more tropical. Many of the holes are quite challenging and the fairways are rising and falling on this 18-hole golf course. There is a good spread of par 3’s, par 4’s and par 5’s on this course.

Palm Hills Golf Club & Residence is a mature course located just 10 minutes’ drive north of Hua Hin. Not only is there a fantastic and mature golf course that is literally covered in tropical palms and trees, but there is also a good club house for food and drink and snacks too at Chomtalay restaurant. The golf course also has a good pro shop for those visitors wanting to update their equipment or clothes.

The sports club offers table tennis, tennis, squash, snooker, a good gym with weights and machines, sauna room and a beautiful kidney-shaped swimming pool that is perfect for exercise and for children because it is not too deep. There is lots of space around the pool for sunbathing and there are plenty of sun beds and parasols. All in all, there are some excellent facilities here for not only golfers but for other sports enthusiasts too. As you drive around the development to get to the club house, you will probably see cyclists and joggers making the most of the excellent smooth roads and the fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and plants like bougainvillea. These plants produce a lovely spread of colours on the sides of the roads at certain times of the year.
