Right in the heart of Hua Hin’s tourist zone and close to the beach, Naresdamri Road has a considerable number of dining options. Many restaurants have terraces which open into the street, so you may still be approached by vendors selling wooden frogs and roses. Evenings can be especially busy.
All Seasons
Opposite the Hilton hotel, All Seasons has Thai and European food. Specialities include barbecued meat and seafood. Pizzas and other Italian dishes are available.

Blue Elephant Terrace
Thai food, steaks and burgers are served at this pleasant terrace style restaurant. It’s also a good spot to sit and watch tourists.

An upmarket venue with mainly Thai and fusion cuisine. It’s a little out of the way but within walking distance, at the southern end of Naresdamri Road.

Charming and relatively expensive restaurant with a relaxed vibe and authentic French cuisine, overlooking the beach and fishing pier. There is fairly decent selection of fish and other seafood. A good spot for a romantic meal.

Chaolay Seafood
A popular seafood restaurant with a sea view and open-air jetty. Customers sit on the upper floor, whilst the lower deck has tanks with live lobsters, crabs and fish. The food is fresh but can be expensive. Opens at lunchtime but gets busy at night and weekends.

Large seafood restaurant built on a long jetty with sea views. The food is fresh but fairly similar to the other nearby seafood places.

Right outside the Hilton hotel, this outdoor venue has a daily barbecue featuring seafood specials such as rock lobster, as well as various European dishes. The nautically themed Tugboat bar is on the same premises.

Ketsarin Seafood
Seafood restaurant with a sea view, which claims to have longest jetty of all the nearby restaurants. Don’t let the plastic chairs put you off, as the food is typically very good.

Khon Hua Hin
Khon doesn’t seem to have a proper address (even the staff don’t know), but it’s just off Naresdamri Road on a small lane leading up to the Chinese temple near the beach. Inexpensive Thai and European food to eat in or take away.

An atmospheric and tranquil restaurant with an extensive French and Thai menu, designed by an acclaimed French chef. Various set menus are available at reasonable prices.

Italian restaurant with a stylish interior and terrace overlooking the street. Has a multitude of pasta, pizza and meat dishes, as well as a few Thai favourites.

One of several Indian restaurants in Hua Hin, Maharaja serves north Indian cuisine in opulent surroundings, to dine in or take away. The most popular dishes are classic Indian recipes such as chicken tikka massala, tandoori prawn and lamb rogan josh.

The largest of the seafood jetty restaurants, Sangthai is very popular with Thais who seem to arrive by the busload on weekends. At the entrance are large tanks that contain various fish, lobsters and shells. For some reason, there are even two Harley Davidson bikes on display inside.

Thai and fresh seafood, especially lobster, plus European dishes such as pizza. At the rear is a large terrace onto the sea, and interesting glass tables filled with sand and sea shells.

A small Indian restaurant at the bottom end of Naresdamri Road, that has an Indian and Pakistani menu. There is a wide dosa and tandoori bread selection, as well Hindustani vegetarian meals and more traditional Indian cuisine. Takeaway is available.

Set in an attractive wooden house with a stylish interior, small rear garden and cosy terrace, Tapas Cafe delivers authentic Spanish cuisine. Ye Olde Buffalo Tavern
Also known as Buffalo Bill’s, this restaurant is decked out in traditional English style and is popular with foreign visitors and expats. Favourites include the acclaimed pork spare ribs and large roast dinners. All day breakfast, pizzas, bar snacks (the chips with mayonnaise are excellent) and Thai food are also available, as well as a kids’ menu.
